This Friday is our last Bible study of the Winter quarter. For those who are having final exams this week, hang in there! Instead of meeting at 3001 PES, we will meet at Ming and Linda’s place all together. We will start with a dinner together as usual. Then we will learn about who Jesus is from the Gospel of John. Also through this Bible study, we will learn from Jesus what it means to love others. This Bible study will be an especially meaningful one as we are entering into Passion Week and Good Friday next week. These are the most important days in the Christian calendar.  And of course, we will end with a good time of fellowship together. So please join us this Friday!

Hi IGSMers. This Friday, we are headed back to the homes for our Bible studies! We will start by sharing a meal together, learn about Jesus as we continue our “Who is this Jesus” message series in the Gospel of John, and wrap up the evening with some fun, chill, and “homey” time (or “not-so-homey” but “still really fun time” should we decide to explore somewhere outside of Davis after the Bible study)!

Hello IGSMers! This Friday, we are trying something completely new for our Bible study! Instead of meeting on campus for Bible study at 3001 PES as a large group, we will split into two smaller groups and each group will meet at a home. Not surprisingly, we will call these two groups “Home Group 1″ and “Home Group 2″, or HG1 and HG2 to make them sound a little cooler

For each HG, we will share a meal together, learn about Jesus as we continue our “Who is this Jesus” message series in the Gospel of John, and some fun, chill, and “homey” time! You should have been contacted by the respective HG staff already. Come join us for one of IGSM’s biggest events of the year: the 2013 IGSM Winter Retreat! It will be from Friday night 1/25 to Sunday 1/27. On Friday, we will meet on campus at 3001 PES at 7 pm, the usual time and location. We will start with dinner together and then we will be U-streaming a message given by Pastor Jonathan who is part of our Gracepoint Berkeley Church. This will be the first message and first day of our IGSM Winter Retreat! After some discussion time, we will head to the retreat site Mt. Hermon near Santa Cruz.

This is a time where we can take a break from all the day-to-day activities in order to learn more about Christianity, the Bible, and God, in a deep and personally meaningful way. Whether you’ve been a Christian for many years, or are simply trying to find out more about Christianity, this event should address many of your questions and concerns. You will get to have extensive discussions with many other people about the common Christian issues, and hopefully come to a deeper understanding about Christianity. This is also a chance for you to enjoy some fun and exciting activities such as games, an outdoor hike, a campfire, and also delicious food.

The cost of the retreat is now $60.
